Curriculum

Here at Dee’s Lighthouse we utilize the Creative Curriculum. The Creative Curriculum helps us create a fun filled play environment and a loving, child friendly and child-centered environment. The curriculum is geared toward helping the caretaker in assisting the children in developing cognitive skills in all core areas; social interaction, independence and self-assurance, and above all it creates an environment that helps build strong partnerships with families.

“The Creative Curriculum for Family Child Care is comprehensive and developmentally appropriate.”

Using this Curriculum helps us to continue to meet all NAFCC (National Association of Family Child Care) and Pennsylvania State standards.

“Creative Curriculum is the leading scientifically based, comprehensive curriculum for programs serving children from birth to age 5.”
